One tricky part about the GNOME Shell design is that there isn't really room for another icon in the bottom row of the system status menu. See the attached screenshot.
The second icon is a lock-rotation toggle switch for supported convertible laptops with an orientation sensor. (It's also been suggested that Log Out could be more prominent than having to click your Name first.) ** Attachment added: "gnome-shell-system-status-menu.png" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-shell/+bug/1697143/+attachment/4893531/+files/gnome-shell-system-status-menu.png -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-shell in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1697143 Title: GNOME Shell's Suspend feature is hidden in power menu To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-shell/+bug/1697143/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
