Public bug reported:
Upgraded to latest Artful development packages and rebooted my computer.
Expected to be able to login but was met with black screen when GDM was
supposed to start. I had to login to the terminal. Added echo "gnome-
session" >> ~/.xinitrc and run startx and the gnome-session run.
Hopefully you can see the logs in the files ubuntu-bug gathered.
