I too am affected by this bug The device is a Dell Vostro 5470 with Intel integrated graphic card + Nvidia GT740M using driver version 375.66.
The bug appears when doing a clean install of Ubuntu gnome, changing the nouveau driver to proprietary 375.66 and rebooting.
