Public bug reported:
I installed Evolution just for the sake of trying and help diagnosing an
unrelated bug. Not that I intend to use it.
The first time I ran it, it asked me to insert an email address for
creating an account, so I did, I entered a gmail address and the correct
password, but the mail authentication request keeps failing.
I have double-checked that the password is correct by logging in to that
very same gmail account in a new incognito browser window.
I wanted to report this upstream but the version of Evolution is
obsolete upstream.
So, can't even begin to use it. Fortunately I wasn't going to, so I
don't care, but it's pathetic.
