Logging separate bug for this issue per <[email protected]> Fresh install of 17.10 with all updates applied. Running on HP Compaq 8200 Elite with HP Z27n monitor attached via displayport and running at 2560x1440. Turning off monitor crashes current session. Same behavior has been seen on Asrock Deskmini.
