Public bug reported:
ubuntu 17.10, nautilus 3.26.0
action:
- add many files (example 50) in folder ~/Templates (from terminal: for i in
{1..50};do touch ~/Templates/file$i.txt; done)
- in nautilus, right click in a folder (in empty space) and choose "New
Document"
- appear a list of the files in "Templates", but only the first 30, no way to
view other files
the same behavior for the list of nautilus script (right click >
scripts), for the files copied in ~/.local/share/nautilus/scripts
the problem for me is mainly for the scripts, I use many; I know that
you can organize in folders, but 30 files are still few.
in ubuntu-gnome 16.04/ nautilus 3.12.2 appear a list of the files in
"Templates", with two arrows at top and bottom of the list for scroll
the list
tested in ubuntu 17.10, also in live usb
