** Description changed: Ubuntu 17.10 has no functioning clipboard manager. This means that if you copy something from an application, and then close that application before pasting it elsewhere, it's lost. For now I was able to fix this issue by installing parcellite. Also, there should be a better way to add a bug report to launchpad than fudging it like i had to, but I brought this up as a bug before, to no joy. -Denny + + Steps to reproduce this issue: + 1. Install 17.10, boot to desktop + 2. Open two applications, let's use a terminal and a browser for example + 3. Copy the hostname string from the terminal, paste it to the browser + 4. Close the terminal, try to paste the string to the browser again. + + Expected result: + * Both step 3 and 4 should work as expected. + + Actual result: + * Only step 3 works, after the application was close, the content in your clipboard will lost.
