Ubuntu 18.04 up to date @ 10/7/2018

Boot logo dots are stuck at the line:

Started Gnome display manager ppp link was shut down...

i have fixxed this temporary with:

TTY: sudo apt purge gdm gdm3
sudo apt install gdm3 ubuntu-desktop
systemctl restart gdm

then goes back to login, working normally again, till the next time this
happens, cant reproduce
