Testing with the final ubuntu-mate-18.04-desktop-amd64.iso:
* The internal MATE keyboard layout applet works fine.
* fcitx doesn't allow to switch to Greek either with Alt+Shift or with
Win+Space.
* When I switch to [gr] layout using the MATE applet, if I just press the [Win]
keyboard key after that, fcitx switches the layout back to [us], which is
clearly yet another fcitx bug.
* Finally, fcitx hangs the whole user interface if I click on its applet (LP:
#1767765).
Since fcitx doesn't integrate at all with Ubuntu MATE, doesn't work at all, and
is causing multiple bugs and even screen hangs,
could you please remove it from the Ubuntu MATE live CDs?
I added mate-desktop in the "affects" list to that regard.
