It's unlikely that assertion message is related to gnome-shell rejecting mouse clicks. So I will reword the bug title...
The first thing to try is always to remove/disable your custom extensions since extensions cause a large number of bugs. You have: b'org.gnome.shell' b'enabled-extensions' b"['dash-to- pa...@jderose9.github.com', 'all-in-one-places@jofer']" Please disable or remove those and see if the problem reoccurs. ** Tags added: noclick ** Summary changed: - gnome-shell[4614]: gtk_action_observer_action_removed: assertion 'GTK_IS_ACTION_OBSERVER (observer)' failed + GNOME Shell unresponsive (could move my cursor but clicking anything didn't produce any actual effects) ** Changed in: gnome-shell (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-shell in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1803208 Title: GNOME Shell unresponsive (could move my cursor but clicking anything didn't produce any actual effects) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-shell/+bug/1803208/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
