There are no errors in the journal / systemctl status for fprintd aside
from a timeout.

There is no output when running 'sudo /usr/lib/fprintd/fprintd'
manually; but the command eventually exits.

This laptop does not have a fingerprint reader at all, and I have
definitely never configured to authorize fingerprint-based unlocking of
the system, so something should be figuring this out without launching
(failing to launch) a separate fprintd daemon process.
