I then went into the Power settings and turned Dim Screen When Inactive to off, Blank Screen to Never and so far there have been basically no flickers. There may have been one or two, but I can't confirm that I saw them and cannot reproduce them. I have tried it both on AC power and on battery, and with success on both.
