The pages problem is being handled in a separate bug 1870847.

- When using a smaller screen resolution like 1366x768, opening and closing a 
folder inside the applications menu breaks the scaling of the icons and number 
of pages.
- Icons either become very small or disappear and the number of pages shows 
more pages than it should.
