It sounds like bug 1875285 was also experienced by the original reporter here...
Strictly speaking I intended for this bug to be more about "Selecting scale 125% highlights 200% but actually renders at 100% still". Bug 1875285 will definitely confuse the matter though, as the screen may literally scale up 200%.
