I had the same issue with Firefox on Arch Linux and LXDE. The "Open containing folder" in Firefox was opening the Elementary Code editor.
The solution described in rmoorman's comment #16 also worked for me. I had to update /usr/share/applications/mimeinfo.cache , and change the line: inode/directory=io.elementary.code.desktop;pcmanfm.desktop; to: inode/directory=pcmanfm.desktop; Now Firefox opens the folder correctly with pcmanfm. I guess it is the same for all applications. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to desktop-file-utils in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1196339 Title: Firefox "Open Containing Folder" opens Audacious instead of File Manager To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/audacious/+bug/1196339/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
