This looks like just a poorly designed GUI. It suggests that wifi "can" be turned off when it should probably say this "will" turn off wifi immediately.
So I don't think there's any functional bug here. Just a GUI design issue. ** Summary changed: - Toggling wifi power-management also toggles wifi connection + Settings > Power suggests wifi "can" be turned off not "will" be turned off ** Changed in: gnome-control-center (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => Low -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-control-center in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1889998 Title: Settings > Power suggests wifi "can" be turned off not "will" be turned off To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-control-center/+bug/1889998/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
