I just reinstalled Ubuntu 20.04.1 on my laptop and changed the graphics driver to "NVIDIA driver metapackage from nvidia-driver-450 (proprietary, tested)" and it seems to have fixed this small text issue (and also the corrupted background bug). Can someone tell me the difference between this metapackage and the "NVIDIA binary driver - version 340.108 from nvidia-340 (proprietary)"?
