After installing the deb (oddly asking me to downgrade to your supplied version) and logging back in, I was greeted with an error from my HP printer drivers saying there is no detected system tray and it's unable to start (attached).
Discord and MegaSync still appear in the tray so I don't know what that's all about. The stutter/lag caused by discord still exists but it's MUCH improved. It's much harder to perceive, but it's certainly still there. I'd estimate the lags are 5-10x shorter in duration. I am testing on an AMD 5950X CPU so it's not caused by a lack of processing power.
