Public bug reported:

ubuntu is now launching slowly for me
it gives me a black screen at launch that shows the result of a system file
check
then it jumps to the login screen which seems strange as the alignment of the
password field appears now on the left of the screen instead of in the centre
as it used to be
then ubuntu desktop starts, the screen seems to be shifting or 3 seconds then
it adjusts itself to normal

what should I reinstall to fix this please ?

thanks.
