Yes please uninstall/disable all extensions other than the three Ubuntu extensions. You can find them in the app called 'Extensions'.
Please also run: cd ~/.local/share/gnome-shell rm -rf extensions and then log out and in again to ensure there are no locally-installed extensions. If the problem reappears after that then please elaborate on what you are trying to copy and paste and in which application.
