Thanks for the bug report. Unfortunately automatic crash dump analysis seems to have failed but this looks like the problem:
g_warning ("%s: Unable to create an Offscreen buffer", G_STRLOC); cogl_object_unref (priv->target); priv->target = NULL; Seems like the crash is probably priv->target being used as NULL, somewhere. But we don't know where or why. Seems strange a GeForce RTX 2070 would run out of resources, if that's what you're still using... Please look at https://errors.ubuntu.com/user/ID where ID is the content of file /var/lib/whoopsie/whoopsie-id on the machine. Do you find any links to recent problems on that page? If so then please send the links to us. ** Tags added: nvidia ** Changed in: gnome-shell (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-shell in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1930192 Title: gnome-shell crashed with SIGSEGV just after: clutter/clutter/clutter- offscreen-effect.c:213: Unable to create an Offscreen buffer To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-shell/+bug/1930192/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
