I thought to do a web search and it appears that the failure to load "gail" and the atk_bridge_adaptor_init runtime check failure have been reported for a number of packages for a while.
It appears to be a harmless error in my case, but some of the other reported cases appear to prevent packages from working. If my choices are between a harmless error message and a segfault I will take the harmless error message. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gtk+2.0 in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1962807 Title: segfault in libgtk-x11-2.0.so.0 with several programs To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gtk+2.0/+bug/1962807/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
