Thanks. Unfortunately MUTTER_DEBUG=kms can't tell us which is the
invalid argument and I can't see a consistent pattern in the log.
Please try these in /etc/environment in separate sessions:
MUTTER_DEBUG_DISABLE_TRIPLE_BUFFERING=1
MUTTER_DEBUG_ENABLE_ATOMIC_KMS=0
