  Binary package hint: gnome-terminal

While I can enter a character like ĝ (g with circumflex) in Konsole by
- typing compose, g, ^, the same doesn't work with gnome-terminal. And, as
+ typing compose, ^, g, the same doesn't work with gnome-terminal. And, as
  I just found out, Firefox.

I need these characters, but want to keep using a US Dvorak keyboard
layout. Is there a way to fix compose, or perhaps another way to enter
  these characters?
