Public bug reported: Hi, I'm on Linux Mint 21 Vanessa and they are using the sane-airscan package from Ubuntu as well. Current version on my system is 0.99.27-1build1. My printer is recognized as follows:
airscan-discover [devices] Brother ADS-2400N = http://192.168.xxx.xxx:80/WebServices/ScannerService, WSD It is connected via LAN to a WiFi access point in my home network. Before the system upgrade to the new Mint Version everything was OK and I remember there was a different driver structure for remote devices. When running a duplex scan in scanimage or GUI applications like simple- scan now, all pages go through the automatic feed. But then, only the front pages are visible in the output. Duplex scanning works again since removing sane-airscan, manually installing drivers from the Brother homepage and adding the device with brsaneconfig. ** Affects: sane-airscan (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to sane-airscan in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1987406 Title: No duplex scan - only frontage is scanned To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/sane-airscan/+bug/1987406/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
