Thanks for the bug report. Please collect a log of the bug happening by:
1. Open a Terminal and run:
journalctl -f > recentlog.txt
Leave it running.
2. Reproduce the bug.
3. Press Ctrl+C in the Terminal window.
4. Attach the resulting text file here.
Please also try:
* Uninstalling the (unsupported) Nvidia 520 driver you are using and
instead use the 'Additional Drivers' app to install a supported driver
version.
* Deleting (yes deleting) all local extensions:
cd ~/.local/share/gnome-shell
rm -rf extensions
and then log in again.
** Package changed: gnome-shell (Ubuntu) => ubuntu
** Changed in: ubuntu
