Resetting Tracker3 (the file indexing daemon) seems to have done the trick for me. I'd need a couple days to confirm that the issue is 100% gone, but there's definetely something wrong with Tracker3, my data, and/or the new version of Nautilus in Ubuntu 22.10:
tracker3 reset --filesystem DISCLAIMER: the above command will reset Tracker3 database, and trigger a reindex, which might take some time and consume a fair amount of CPU/resources depending on the configuration and the amount of files to reindex. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to nautilus in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1993907 Title: nautilus freezes randomly To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nautilus/+bug/1993907/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
