Public bug reported:
The vte source package is an old version of vte that hasn't been
maintained in many years. The current version is packaged with source
package name vte2.91
vte is still around in Debian because debian-installer has not yet
switched to GTK3. However, Ubuntu no longer supports debian-installer
and nothing in Ubuntu uses the old vte.
Therefore, please remove vte from Ubuntu.
$ reverse-depends src:vte
$ reverse-depends -b src:vte
No reverse dependencies found
