I was using the latest version of glib 2.75 as packaged in Debian experimental for a few days, but my sound broke. See https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/glib/-/issues/2769
There probably are other things that broke because of that behavior change. Also, recent changes made glib break on other architectures (endian issue?) which means it would be stuck in lunar-proposed until that is fixed. https://buildd.debian.org/status/package.php?p=glib2.0&suite=experimental ** Changed in: glib2.0 (Ubuntu) Status: New => Triaged ** Changed in: glib2.0 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => Medium ** Bug watch added: gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/glib/-/issues #2769 https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/glib/-/issues/2769 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to glib2.0 in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2004241 Title: Update to glib >= 2.75.1 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/glib2.0/+bug/2004241/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
