Just updating. This is fixed. On Beta with Update April 10 there is no issue and here is the list of other things fixed that I did not mentioned but just noticed:
1. Rebooting after installing from USB no longer freezes before rebooting. 2. Nvidia drivers are now installed properly which includes nvidia settings working correctly. 3. Changing to Xorg and disabling Wayland no longer freezes the system on boot. 4. Changing resolution no longer causes a black screen in a random way I was not able to assess. 5. Waiting for the suspend to kick in no longer freezes computer if you try to move the mouse or keyboard. 6. I installed 5 times already today without putting any kernel settings and it worked properly. 7. Context many now shows complete instead of only 2 or 3 options. Now errors 8. Updating from Nvidia 525 to 530, if secure boot is disabled or enabled it will freeze during dpkg process and stop the installation. I can try to do dpkg --configure -a but it freezes during building initial module for 6.2.0-19-generic. This I will create a bug report for. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-shell in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2011837 Title: Nvidia with Wayland or Xorg issue To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-shell/+bug/2011837/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
