Thanks for the bug report. Perhaps one issue is that your USB3 kernel driver crashed on wakeup (or possibly really when suspending):
Aug 09 08:58:10 ikigai kernel: xhci_hcd 0000:04:00.0: disabling already-disabled device Aug 09 08:58:10 ikigai kernel: WARNING: CPU: 0 PID: 114 at drivers/pci/pci.c:2241 pci_disable_device+0xc4/0xf0 Does the bug occur if you *don't* have the keyboard and mouse connected at suspend time? Also possibly related is the non-standard extension '[email protected]' so I'd recommend trying: gnome-extensions disable [email protected] P.S. Your kernel is not from Ubuntu so we don't usually support that. It might be a good idea for easing internal support going forward to install regular Ubuntu at some stage: https://ubuntu.com/download/desktop ** Changed in: gnome-shell (Ubuntu) Status: New => Invalid ** Changed in: gnome-shell (Ubuntu) Status: Invalid => Incomplete ** Package changed: gnome-shell (Ubuntu) => ubuntu -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-shell in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2031108 Title: only wallpaper after suspend To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/2031108/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
