Attached is the output of lshal.

"dev" only appears in open/save gtk dialogs, not in nautilus or the
places menu.

And shouldn't there be a File System shortcut in gtk open/save?  I know
there was in gnome 2.16.  Without it, it makes things like searching the
root filesystem with gnome's "Search for files" completely impossible.
Even parenting all the way up, it still forces you to select a folder.
