Public bug reported:
On my laptop, in gnome, I have set the xfce window manager (XFWM4) as
the default window manager in gnome (through gconf-editor), instead of
metacity. Now, every time I log into gnome, the splash screen is there
for a while.. It doesn't dissapear if clicked, but after some time
(maybe a minute or so) after having logged in. If using metacity this
doesn't happen.
Hope it gets fixed ^^
