Just to be safe: this bug is not _about_ inkscape not responding, it _can be reproduced_ by having inkscape not respond. The bug is about the wait-icon from Nautilus persisting beyond its usefulness.
i start both inkscape and nautilus by clicking them on the tray, then drag&drop the file into inkscape; so there was no command line open to see any errors. I now started Inkscape and Nautilus from separate Terminals, then drag&dropped the file, got the same 'Wait or Forcequit' dialogue popup, but neither Terminal registered anything beyond the initializing messages from starting the programs. If there is another way to see 'error on the command line', please let me know. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to nautilus in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2097101 Title: Wait overlay from Nautilus does not dissappear To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nautilus/+bug/2097101/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
