This looks like it might not be a bug at all. Your two monitors are aligned at their bottom edges, not the top edge. The difference is 180 pixels:
eDP-1 connected primary 1600x900+0+180 HDMI-1-0 connected 1920x1080+1600+0 So it is expected that the cursor will hit a barrier when moving from one to the other and not vice versa. To fix this you should reconfigure your displays so they align at the top. ** Changed in: gnome-shell (Ubuntu) Status: New => Invalid ** Changed in: mutter (Ubuntu) Status: New => Invalid ** No longer affects: mutter (Ubuntu) ** Package changed: gnome-shell (Ubuntu) => ubuntu -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-shell in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2107589 Title: Mouse can't cross to another monitor from the title bar To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/2107589/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
