Summary:
When using Ubuntu 24.04 LTS (GNOME on Wayland) with a secondary monitor
connected, the laptop's internal display briefly "glitches" (short jump)
sometimes when a window is opened or moved on the external screen.
The issue occurs regardless of kernel version (tested with 6.8 and 6.14).

Display setup:
- Internal laptop screen (eDP-1): 1920x1080 @ 60 Hz
- External monitor (HDMI-1 / DP-1): 1920x1200 @ 60 Hz
- Fractional scaling: Disabled (100% on both screens)

Expected behavior
- Both displays should remain stable, with no visual disturbance on either
screen.

Actual behavior
- The laptop's internal display briefly "jumps" or "glitches" when a window is
opened or moved; the issue occurs occasionally but can repeat after some time.
- It does not occur under an Xorg session.
- The issue persists across reboots and with different monitors.

Additional notes:
- The system uses hybrid graphics (Intel + NVIDIA RTX 2000).
- NVIDIA Prime is set to "on-demand", so the integrated GPU handles display
rendering by default.
- $ glxinfo | grep "OpenGL renderer"
