Hi [~wdoekes], Yes this looks like the same bug - the same symptoms and
recipe to produce.

It wasn't clear to me which piece of software the bug is actually in,
and I'm quite surprised to hear that it obscures the same way in X11 as
in Wayland. However the commit description entirely explains the
behaviour.


I don't have the new version, but at least if it was a problem for me then I 
would know how to get it fixed.
