OK please start by deleting all local extensions:

  cd ~/.local/share/gnome-shell/
  rm -rf extensions

and then log in again. Assuming that fixes the issue you should then be
able to reintroduce them one by one to figure out which is to blame.
grand-theft-focus sounds pretty suspicious :)
