Hi blank89 — thanks for reporting this issue with your Wacom Intuos Pro
S pen buttons on Ubuntu 25.10. I understand that right/middle click
buttons configured in the Graphics Tablets settings are not working as
expected, and occasionally the cursor disappears or jumps to a corner
when you hold them down.
To help narrow down whether this is a configuration, Wayland input
handling, or device profile issue, could you please provide a few
details:
1. What session type are you using — Wayland or X11? You can check by running:
echo $XDG_SESSION_TYPE
in a terminal.
2. Which specific pen buttons (e.g., which numbered buttons on the pen
itself) exhibit this behaviour, and does the issue affect all buttons
configured as right/middle click, or only some of them?
3. Please run the following command and share the output:
libinput list-devices
We need to confirm that your Wacom Intuos Pro S pen is recognized correctly
by the input stack and that its button assignments appear as expected.
4. If you can, please also check the system journal for events when you press
the pen buttons while in a terminal or editor:
journalctl --no-pager -f | grep -i wacom
Then press the configured pen buttons and share any relevant log lines (or
confirm that nothing appears).
This information will help us determine whether the button presses are
reaching the system at all, or if they're being dropped somewhere in the
input pipeline. Thanks for your patience!
