Public bug reported:

In Ubuntu 26.04, changing the cursor theme doesn't work.

Normally, I can change the cursor theme like this:

gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.interface cursor-theme 'DMZ-White'

and I can check it was changed like this:

gsettings get org.gnome.desktop.interface cursor-theme

It correctly answers:

'DMZ-White'

However, the cursor theme is still the same (black cursor) in the UI.
The DMZ-White cursor theme is not applied. Same problem with other
cursor themes.
