Additional mitigation/status update: This system is currently running with MUTTER_DEBUG_KMS_THREAD_TYPE=user set in /etc/environment and active in the Wayland session.
With DP-7 / Hisense disabled as a GNOME logical display, but still physically connected, the severe AMDGPU/DCN marker stream has not returned during follow-up testing.
