Let me reorganise this bug into something focussed because you're the second person to suggest that icons are now too small for high-res-low- scaling-factor configurations.
BTW the truncated application names are covered by a separate bug 968213 and that did get worse in 26.04 because we ran out of time. But it is already fixed in the upstream branch; https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-shell/-/merge_requests/4122 ** Summary changed: - Gnome Shell theme for 26.04 - weird application overview scaling + Gnome Shell overview icons are too small for high-res low-scaling-factor configurations ** Changed in: gnome-shell (Ubuntu) Status: Invalid => New ** Summary changed: - Gnome Shell overview icons are too small for high-res low-scaling-factor configurations + Gnome Shell overview icons are too small by default on 1440p screens ** Summary changed: - Gnome Shell overview icons are too small by default on 1440p screens + Gnome Shell overview icons appear too small by default on 1440p screens -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-shell in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2154176 Title: Gnome Shell overview icons appear too small by default on 1440p screens To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/yaru/+bug/2154176/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
