Steps to reproduce:
1. Boot Ubuntu 26.04.
2. Log into GNOME Wayland.
3. Suspend from the power menu or close the laptop lid.
4. Wake the laptop.

Expected result:
The desktop should return normally.

Actual result:
The keyboard backlight turns on and Caps Lock responds, but the internal 
display remains black.
Ctrl+Alt+F3 does not switch to a TTY.
Only a hard power-off recovers the system.

Acer Nitro AN515-57
Intel Tiger Lake UHD Graphics
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Laptop GPU

Software:
Ubuntu 26.04 LTS
Kernel 7.0.0-28-generic
GNOME Shell 50.1
Wayland

Additional testing:
- Reproduced with both nvidia-driver-595-open and nvidia-driver-595.
- Secure Boot disabled.
- Suspend mode: deep (S3).
