Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: nautilus
Version: Ubuntu Edgy with Nautilus v2.16.1-0ubuntu3.2
Just right-click on an iso image file and select "Write to disc..." Then it
asks for a blank CD. Keeps poping the same dialog when pushing OK, although a
valid blank CD is inserted, and even "mounted" on the desktop (an icon shows it
on the desktop).
The iso image I' trying to burn is the xubuntu-7.04-beta-desktop-i386.iso with
size of 572352KB. This could be a regression on bug 50719 which was fixed for
Dapper.
If instead I open the (blank) CD icon on the desktop, drag the ISO image icon
to the Nautilus window, click onto "Write disc" button, it
says that there's only one file and would I like burn it or its contents. When
I click the first button in the dialog, nothing happens
except that the dialog goes away. I guess these bugs are related.
Burning that ISO image to that CD works just fine in K3b.
** Affects: nautilus (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: Unconfirmed
