Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: sound-juicer
I am using a Dell E1505 laptop and Ubuntu 6.10.
CD-ROMs and DVDs read ok, but the system hangs if I try using Sound
Juicer to play or rip+encode the CD. Also, if I try playing or
ripping+encoding on Grip, the cd drive does not spin and no sound comes
out.
However, if I try playing the CD in Amarok, it works perfectly fine. CD
drive spins up and music comes out.
Not sure if it is a sound-juicer or a gstreamer problem. I'm not sure
how to get the crash data, so if someone can tell me how, I'd be glad to
submit the data.
Thanks. -Noel
