Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: evolution
I am using Xubuntu.
In another bug report I read that this problem might have something to
do with the following file:
/home/tommie/.gconf/desktop/gnome/url-handlers/http/%gconf.xml
This file read the following:

<gconf>

<stringvalue>/usr/lib/swiftfox/firefox
"%s"</stringvalue>

</gconf>
I am not using swiftfox anymore so I substituted the line with:
<stringvalue>/usr/lib/firefox/firefox
"%s"</stringvalue>
If I execute /usr/lib/firefox/firefox a new firefox window pops up
loading my homepage.
But links in evolution emails still are not functioning...
