In Feisty, when using a composite manager, there is a new transparent
volume bar that appears at the bottom of the screen when using hotkeys
to adjust volume (alt + shift + -). Upon switching back to metacity and
restarting X, we can achieve the old, opaque, simple volume bar.

It would be nice if, in gconf, we could either change the size of the
new composite volume popup, OR have the option to disable it completely,
and instead use the old (metacity) styled bar.

** Affects: control-center (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: Unconfirmed
