The workaround did not solve the bug on my machine (running Feisty). While $ touch /etc/cups/ppd/prnSysadmin.ppd does give me a URL that exists: 127.0.0.1:631/printers/prnSysadmin.ppd .. when I select the printer in evince, the print button is still disabled and the terminal outputs the following: ** (evince:6558): WARNING **: Error result: HTTP Error in GET Success
