Binary package hint: alacarte
This bug has nothing to do with special characters.
--> Steps to reproduce:
1. Revert
2. Create a submenu (e.g. "sound" submenu of Sound&Video)
3. Drag and Drop VLC from Sound&Video to sound
Expected behaviour copy VLC to sound, switch to sound,
Results: Switching to sound, VLC stays in S&V, but doesn't appear in sound
** Affects: alacarte (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: Unconfirmed
