Public bug reported:

dasher always crashes with "pango-WARNING" and segmentation fault when I
try to change the alphabet.

To reproduce:

1. Run dasher
2. click the alphabet pulldown (which defaults to "English with limited
punctuation")
3. click "More alphabets..."

The output in the terminal is then:

(dasher:7310): Pango-WARNING **: shape engine failure, expect ugly
output. the offending font is 'Arial Unicode MS Not-Rotated 10'

(dasher:7310): Pango-WARNING **: pango_font_get_glyph_extents called with null
font argument, expect ugly output
Segmentation fault (core dumped)

** Affects: pango1.0 (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: Unconfirmed
